2010 Winter X-Games Highlights

Anybody that follows snowboarding has most definitely heard the name Shaun White. He's the world's most favorite carrot topped snowboarder. And, most people can agree that at the 2010 Winter X-Games he proved all of his haters wrong and walked away with a Gold Medal! In case you didn't see, Shaun had a little crash in his practice run. He was nearly decapitated. But, he kept his eye on the gold, stayed focused, and walked away with a gold medal. Impossible? That's what the masses said. But, once again, he proved them wrong. Impressive? I think we can all agree on that! Step off the beaten path. Be OBNOXXIOUS!

2011 Winter X-Games

So the 2011 Winter X-Games (number 15) are just 8 days away and, seeing as how they are basically in our backyard, myself and the rest of the Obnoxxious Crew are pretty stoked. They start on Thursday January 27th and end on Sunday January 30th. The events will take place in Aspen, Colorado and athletes from all over the world will show up to compete. Oh, and did I mention that myself and the rest of the Obnoxxious Crew will be there and will be getting, well...obnoxious! We won't be selling merchandise, but we will be handing out hundreds, maybe thousands, of Obnoxxious stickers. And, we want to see them everywhere and on everything. In you're in the neighborhood, we hope to see you there.

When Life Gives You Snowflakes...

So for the last month or so, it's been fairly warm and dry in Colorado. On Christmas Day, it was almost 60 degrees and sunny! That's definitely not normal weather for Colorado in December. The ski resorts have been desperate for snow. But, the last week or so has been fairly cold and, finally, on Saturday we got dumped with snow. The snow gods felt pity upon us and blanketed the ground. And, we thank them for that. On Sunday, the Obnoxxious Crew was able to get together and, well...get a little Obnoxxious! So, our mantra for the month is 'When life gives you snowflakes, make snowballs, build jumps, create snowmen, and Be OBNOXXIOUS!

A New Years Resolution

Well, it finally arrived and hopefully everyone survived it. The New Year is here and hopefully it will bring new and exciting adventures. We realize that it's tradition to set New Years Resolutions, but the average person gives up on them within a few months of the start date. But, we do encourage you to set at least one New Years Resolution. However, it should be a lifelong resolution. For ever and always, Be Obnoxxious. Now, when we say Be Obnoxxious, this doesn't necessarily mean to toilet paper people's houses or to break bottles in the street, but rather to never accept failure. Our definition of being Obnoxxious means pushing boundaries, never excepting defeat, and constantly challenging the norm. Have a safe and Happy New Year, and Be Obnoxxious! On that note, check out this New Years Eve jump from a couple of years ago by Robbie Maddison.
